About four years ago I discovered Bearded Dragons while watching TV. Apparently I lead a sheltered life and had never been exposed to reptiles. I suppose it’s because I grew up horseback riding, and none of my friends ever considered owning a snake, or gecko or bearded dragon. I was smitten!

Upon walking into the Kammerer & Sexton apartment here in Cambridge, MA., one would get the full tour. The incubator is set up and ready to go for the new season and I should have eggs from my Super Hypo female Shiny sometime in the next two weeks. I’m still working on getting either a Mack RAPTOR or Nova male but I’m sure I can find one before the breeding season is over so I won’t stress about it.

Ron Tremper, who could rightfully be called one of the “fathers” of leopard gecko selective breeding, has recently launched a new app (for iphone and android) called “Leopard Gecko Pro”. This new app is one of a series of leopard gecko morph, gecko care and snake care apps that he has released. I was unable to resist this app and its $9.95 price tag which includes a “lifetime” of free updates in a field that is constantly evolving.
